Wilshere and friends in baffling selfie
One of the great things about World Cups is the way in which squads bond, putting club rivalries to one side for the greater good of their nation.
One of the worst things about this particular World Cup, however, will be selfies. Thankfully, Jack Wilshere and his friends might just have ensured that the craze jumps the shark entirely before the tournament kicks off proper on Thursday.
Consider this:

All well and good, at first glance. Just four mates having fun in their spare time.
Except that's not a selfie. It's someone TAKING A PICTURE of somebody taking a selfie. Is somebody also taking a picture of the person taking a picture of the people taking a selfie? How far can this go?
If you spot footballers doing ridiculous things in #SelfieGang, contact @ESPNUK on Twitter. Perhaps we all can shame it out of them.
