Back to the training ground, Wayne
It may be best for Roy Hodgson to take Wayne Rooney off corner duties for England right now.
The striker is not having the best of times right now - and his performance in the 2-1 defeat to Italy did nothing to help the scenario he currently finds himself in.
Yes, he may have provided a great cross for Daniel Sturridge's equaliser in Manaus, but playing out on the wing was there anything else he did in the game?
Of course there was.
England had a corner with 14 minutes to go. In the hot and humid conditions his team-mates made the effort to get into the box, only to be let down by Rooney as his corner went straight into the stands.
Still, at least Rooney has plenty of time to practice taking corners ahead of the Uruguay game next Thursday.
