Severa: The dog addicted to football
When they were knocked out of the World Cup in the group stage, Cristiano Ronaldo and co would have expected to return home to more than a few broken hearts.
But Portugal's footballers seem to have shattered dreams of a more canine variety after a dog was caught on camera visibly devastated after their Group G exit.
Severa is a pet who appears to understand football, proving true the old saying that a dog really is a man's best friend.
It wasn't all doom and gloom though - for three fleeting matches, Portugal were still in the competition. Severa certainly enjoyed Silvestre Varela's late equaliser against the USA.
