Redknapp's reason to cheer after Liverpool loss

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp did have something to smile about on Sunday.
Despite watching his side lose in dramatic circumstances to Liverpool at Loftus Road - courtesy of an added-time own goal from Steven Caulker - there was reason to cheer a couple of hours after the final whistle.
Violets Boy, the Irish-trained horse owned by Redknapp, came home a 9/2 winner in the 17.00 at Kempton with an impressive performance in the two-mile handicap chase.
It was a result that may well have softened the blow for Redknapp - or at least calm him down following his astonishing post-match rant over QPR midfielder Adel Taarabt.
