Spurs and Arsenal reject selfie stick revolution

Tottenham and Arsenal have become the first clubs to ban selfie sticks from their stadiums.
The social media phenomenon has taken hold in England and sees users hold their phones or cameras in a stick to get a better angle for a photo of themselves.
However, Premier League clubs have taken a stance on the prop, insisting that it is not safe to bring into grounds.
Tottenham had already banned their use during a match, but have now taken the decision to stop them being allowed in the stadium altogether as revealed by a fan on Twitter:

North London rivals Arsenal, meanwhile, will allow fans to use them on official club tours, but won't allow them into the ground on a matchdays.
An Arsenal spokesman told the New Journal: "We can confirm that 'selfie sticks' are banned on matchdays at Emirates Stadium. The club's ground regulations prohibit any object that could be used as a weapon or could compromise public safety."
