Love game? Kyrgios and Azarenka share flirty tweets
Love normally means nothing to tennis players (I'll get my coat...) but 19-year-old sensation Nick Kyrgios and former women's world No.1 Victoria Azarenka did not hold back when the opportunity arose for a bout of Twitter flirting.
Finding himself five minutes to spare, Kyrgios - who takes on Andy Murray in the Australian Open quarter-finals - asked his online following if they had any questions, using the hashtag #NKAO15.
He got this response from the two-time Melbourne champion:
How can I learn to serve as big as u @NickKyrgios ??? #NKAO2015— victoria azarenka (@vika7) January 24, 2015
Being the cheeky teenager he is, he snapped at the chance ...
"@vika7: How can I learn to serve as big as u @NickKyrgios ??? #NKAO2015"
Private lessons of course!! — Nicholas Kyrgios (@NickKyrgios) January 24, 2015
And, much to the amusement of the watching world, his 25-year-old admirer took the bait ...
"@NickKyrgios: "How can I learn to serve as big as u @NickKyrgios ??? #NKAO2015"
Private lessons of course!! " okay I'll book one — victoria azarenka (@vika7) January 24, 2015
The conversation stops there - presumably to move into the privacy of their inboxes ...
Screaming onto the scene by knocking Rafael Nadal out of Wimbledon last year, Kyrgios has ruffled a few feathers on tour with his swashbuckling style and carefree attitude which has got him into trouble on a couple of occasions - including an expletive-filled lashing of a ballboy during his five-set epic against Andreas Seppi.
But Azarenka is no stranger to the rockstar lifestyle - she recently ended a two-year relationship with DJ Stefan 'Redfoo' Gordy, best known as one half of rap duo LMFAO.
We've had Brangelina, Tomkat and Kimye - could we soon be celebrating 'Kyzarenka' ...?
