Cristiano Ronaldo sends stylist to tend to wax model

In recent years, Cristiano Ronaldo and his camp have been keen to sell the idea that while on the pitch he has superstar powers, away from the game the three-time Ballon d'Or winner is just a normal guy not overly-obsessed with his personal image.
This all, obviously, despite the permanent tan, gleaming teeth and tendency to reveal his sculpted physique at every possible occasion.
So it is perhaps not hugely surprising to hear Madrid's waxwork museum suggest Ronaldo takes a very close personal interest in the appearance of his likeness, which has been on show at the Spanish capital tourist attraction since December 2013, and even sends a stylist to regularly check up on the model.
"Cristiano told us to be sure his figure was perfect," communication director Gonzalo Presa told Catalan radio.
"He sent his own hairstylist to brush his figure once a month. Cristiano's hair is natural, it is not a wig, and it comes from India."
