I was looking at Anthony Davidson's F1 record, and he raced in 24 GPs without ever getting a point. Is this the most for anyone, or at least a British driver? asked Jeremy Hayes

There are actually 11 drivers who have taken part in more Grands Prix than Anthony Davidson without ever collecting a point. Top of the list is the unfortunate Italian Luca Badoer, who started 51 races - with Lola, Minardi, Forti and, late in his career, as a substitute for Ferrari - without ever troubling the scorers. His best position was seventh - one place out of the points at the time - in the 1993 San Marino GP (his third race).

Among the pointless drivers with more than Davidson's 24 GPs are three other Britons - Rupert Keegan (25), Mike Beuttler (28) and Max Chilton (35).

Chilton currently lies in third place overall on this unfortunate list, behind Badoer and Charles Pic (39 starts, no points).
