Why Arsenal's Ozil takes moisturiser and gel to games
It is no secret that footballers strive to look as good off the pitch as they do on it - and Arsenal's star forwards are no different.
With three wins from three in March, including knocking Manchester United out of the FA Cup, Arsene Wenger's side are in hot form.
And, speaking to GQ, Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud have revealed the lengths they go to look good when they are not in action.
"I bring my own grooming kit to the game - moisturiser, gel and shampoo," Ozil told the style magazine.
"I like to take care of myself. Football players like to take care of themselves and pay attention to the way they dress.
"I think as a human being you need variety. You can't just do football, you need a combination. Football is of course my main focus, which is a lot of fun and I love to be on the pitch.
"But I have other interests beside that, like fashion or being with my family."
Giroud, meanwhile, revealed the influence of his look - and how fans try to copy it.
"Yes, they try to do the quiff," he said. "Especially in France, I see a lot of them. It is funny because they try to imitate me - but it is always a pleasure.
"David Beckham is a top man. I love the guy and what he can show in terms of style as well. He's really classy, an icon.
But it isn't just the former England captain that Giroud worships as a fashion guru.
"When I was young, I looked up to Andriy Shevchenko," the Frenchman added. "He was so elegant, and on the pitch as well."
The question on our lips is: Who's the longest in the shower?
