Tyson Fury is eyeing a potential showdown with Wladimir Klitschko should he overcome British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora on July 23.

Unbeaten Fury, 23, has won all 14 of his professional bouts with 10 coming inside the distance. The 6ft 9in giant faces his biggest test to date when he meets domestic rival Chisora at Wembley Arena in a couple of weeks.

British boxing fans are still reeling from witnessing David Haye surrender his WBA belt in a heavy points defeat to Klitschko in Hamburg. Despite the recent unification clash being something of a disappointment, Fury is adamant he will "redeem heavyweight boxing" when he challenges Chisora.

"I saw the Haye-Klitschko fight and didn't think it was a great fight to be honest, a lot of people got conned for their money," Fury told Sky Sports News. "I thought it was a put-up job. Haye didn't really get stuck in or try and win in my opinion, Klitschko did what he had to do and it was just a let-down for the British public.

"Hopefully I'll redeem heavyweight boxing come July 23. I'm going to go in there and give fight fans a real fight, value for money and what they want to see."

Fury may still be a relative novice in the fight game but the Manchester fighter is hoping a good showing against Chisora could lead to a crack against WBO, IBF and WBA title holder Klitschko - a contest he believes he would win.

"I know (Wladimir) Klitschko can be beaten and I know I can beat him," he said. "Different day different story though."
