Khan delays Floyd chase to hunt down Bradley

WBA and IBF light-welterweight champion Amir Khan is so desperate to get his hands on WBO king Timothy Bradley that he is willing to delay his move to the welterweight division.
Khan was expected to move up to 147lbs after his defence against Lamont Peterson, the mandatory challenger for his IBF title, on December 10 in America.
And post-Peterson, Khan's priority appeared to be a clash with either Floyd Mayweather Jnr, the WBC welterweight champion, or undefeated Brit Kell Brook.
However, all bets could be off if he finally gets his wish to fight Bradley, having failed with his attempts earlier this year. Although Bradley reportedly snubbed Khan's offers, his situation was complicated by a wrangle with former promoter Gary Shaw, which rendered him inactive for a spell. As a result of that dormant period, Bradley was stripped of the WBC championship.
However, he is now back in business after signing with Top Rank promotions, and will make a return against Joel Casamayor on November 12.
"I was desperate to fight Tim Bradley - we offered him 50-50, even with UK money. I wanted to fight him when he was on top of his game and had two belts. I wanted to be the undisputed champion," Khan told The Boxing Lab, boxingscene.com's audio show.
"First I want to get this fight out of the way with Peterson. If it makes sense then I will stay at 140 for Bradley before moving up to 147. If the fight is a big fight, why not?"
