- James DeGale v Jose Guerrero
DeGale handed Guerrero test
The December 9 card featuring super-middleweight rivals James DeGale and George Groves will now take place in Liverpool - not London, as was originally planned.
European champion DeGale will take on 34-year-old Spaniard Jose Guerrero in a non-title encounter, while Groves' opponent is yet to be named.
DeGale, who won the Euro strap against Piotr Wilczewski last month, will not defend his belt because he is penciled in to face mandatory challenger Cristian Sanavia in February.
Guerrero carries a 29-2-1 (11 KOs) record, but his CV is not littered with stellar names: his most recent outing was against Marcos Munoz, who managed just six wins from 44 fights. Guerrero will be making his UK debut soil against DeGale.
British and Commonwealth champion Groves is returning to the ring for the first time since an impressive second-round stoppage of Paul Smith earlier this month.
Meanwhile, reports suggest Dereck Chisora will face unbeaten heavyweight Robert Helenius for the European title on December 3 in Finland. Helenius, who has won 11 of 16 fights by way of knockout, can boast impressive wins over Lamon Brewster and Samuel Peter.
