WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko has rejected suggestions that his February fight with Dereck Chisora is a mismatch, claiming that it will be a "50/50" contest.

Britain's Chisora, who has lost two of his last three bouts, has been priced at 7/1 to cause a stunning upset against the 40-year-old Ukrainian.

But Klitschko was impressed by Chisora's last showing - a contentious points defeat to European champion Robert Helenius - and is refusing to look ahead to a likely June date with David Haye.

"He sounds confident and that is good", Klitschko, who has won 43 of 45 fights, said. "I cannot allow myself to fight weaker opponents than Chisora. After our meeting there will not be any question about [who's better]."

Chisora responded: "I know my opponent and he hasn't seen anything like me. They call him the doctor here and I call myself the most dangerous plague in the world."
