Floyd Mayweather Snr has launched a furious attack on celebrated trainer Freddie Roach, who oversees Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan.

Roach has been credited with transforming the careers of that pair and has been showered with several Trainer of the Year awards.

However, Mayweather Snr believes that Roach only teaches his fighters a limited skill-set, and questions why Roger Mayweather has not been rewarded for his efforts in Floyd Mayweather Jnr's corner.

"I'm tired of all this bulls**t man, I've been telling you all for a while that Freddie Roach ain't no trainer," Mayweather Snr told boxingtalk.com. "I would love everyone to watch me train, then go ahead and watch Freddie Roach train. He's won all these awards because he has all this politic bulls**t going on.

"Lil' Floyd was the top pound-for-pound fighter for a long time, and nobody ever won an award for training him. What the hell is going on? Freddie Roach teaches Pacquiao to throw a straight left, and double hook. That's it; that's his whole day of training. He does it over and over again, and has nothing else. If you're going to be fair, give another trainer a chance instead of giving it to this guy over and over."

Mayweather Jnr has been jailed for 90 days on domestic violence charges, plunging his proposed May 5 fight with Pacquiao into doubt.
