Price to make American debut in March

English heavyweight champion David Price will introduce himself to an American audience when he appears in Atlantic City on March 24, on the undercard of Mariusz Wach v Tye Fields.

Negotiations for a bout between Price and Josue Blocus have nearly reached a conclusion, according to a report on boxingscene.com.

France's Blocus, 42, has a 16-2 record (14 KOs) but has fought just three times since June 2006; he has a victory over Nicolai Firtha, who Tyson Fury beat last year, on his CV.

Olympic bronze medallist Price (12-0, 10 KOs) set up a British title clash with Fury when he stopped John McDermott within a round earlier this month.
