Haye investigation still ongoing

Munich police have confirmed they are still investigating David Haye's press conference brawl with Dereck Chisora, which occurred after the latter's defeat to Vitali Klitschko last month.
Following Chisora's loss on February 18 he and Haye were involved in an altercation in the post-fight media gathering, for which Chisora faces a misconduct hearing before the British Boxing Board of Control next week.
Haye, who retired from the sport last October but who is angling for a return with a fight against Vitali, left Germany hastily in the wake of the incident and Munich police are still investigating the former WBA heavyweight champion's part in the confrontation.
"The case against David Haye continues to be looked into. It is under investigation on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. The investigation was initiated by the Munich prosecutor's office," Gottfried Schlicht, a Munich police spokesman, is quoted as saying in the Daily Telegraph.
"Case processing has taken over the prosecution. The criminal investigation is still ongoing. The CID must have heard several people as witnesses. Most of them were members of the press conference after the boxing match."
He added: "An examination of David Haye has not happened yet. But it is necessary for the decision on whether the investigation is to be closed or not."
