Sanavia ready to shock DeGale

Cristian Sanavia is ready to seize his chance to get back in the big time after signing to fight James DeGale for his European super-middleweight title.

DeGale will take his belt to Denmark on April 21, where he will feature on the 'Nordic Fight Night' bill.

The 26-year-old DeGale wrestled the title from Piotr Wilczewski last October and will come up against a seasoned campaigner in Sanavia.

At 37, Sanavia has 52 fights behind him - including 45 wins - and feels his experience can be a telling factor.

"DeGale had a great amateur career but he has never been inside the ring with somebody as experienced as me," Sanavia said.

"This is my last chance to get back to where I belong, which is the very top of the super-middleweight division. I will win on April 21."
