I'll never fight 'no balls' Bradley - Khan

Amir Khan believes old rival Timothy Bradley is simply "making up the numbers" against Manny Pacquiao, and insists he now has no interest in fighting the American.

Khan remains frustrated by Bradley's repeated refusals to fight him, with his well-documented reluctance to step into the ring with the Bolton fighter scuppering the chance to decide the premier light-welterweight in the sport - a discussion Lamont Peterson has now forced himself into after beating Khan in controversial fashion at the end of 2011.

Bradley, who has fought just twice in the last 18 months, is due to face Pacquiao in Las Vegas in June for the WBO welterweight title, in a fight that will likely prove the biggest payday of his career. Khan, who never managed to lure the American into the ring, believes that money is his only motivation - and is why he won't come away with victory.

"First of all, I think we know that Bradley is not going to become the pound-for-pound champion of the world," Khan told FightHype. "He might be fighting for it, but he's just making numbers because I think he's in it for the payday and everything. I mean, he's not fought for a long time; he was out the game.

"He didn't want to fight me; he was out even longer. I mean, yeah, it does hurt you when you think boxing is a sport where the best should fight the best, especially at the 140-pound division. I thought maybe we should've kind of made it clear who is the champion of this weight, and then he could've moved up and fought Manny Pacquiao or whoever."

Khan acknowledged that he has thought about stepping into the ring against Pacquiao in future, but insists he will never reconsider fighting Bradley if the American is beaten by his training partner.

"He's fighting my gym mate, Manny Pacquiao, and who knows, in the future, the fight might happen," he added. "But now, because I offered him the fight, if he gets knocked out by Manny Pacquiao, I don't think he'll be worth me fighting because I don't want leftovers to be honest with you.

"He knows I told him to grow some balls; everyone knows I told him that, and you know what? I don't think he has any because he just walked off."

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Khan is predicting a knockout victory for the Filipino.

"Let him enjoy this little time before he gets knocked out," Khan said. "Manny just has to be very careful with that big head of Bradley. He'll try to rough him up with body shots and looping shots and stuff, but I really think Manny will catch him in between his looping shots and he will spark him."
