Martin Rogan has cranked up the verbals ahead of his heavyweight clash with Tyson Fury on Saturday by labelling him a "fake" and vowing to "smash him up".

Fury will put his unbeaten record on the line at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast and is confident of overcoming recent problems with his weight to claim victory.

Issues with his weight saw Fury pile on over five stones, but he claims to have been working hard ahead of his meeting with Rogan who has got his career back on track following back-to-back defeats to Sam Sexton.

Rogan does not appear happy that Manchester-born Fury is fighting for the Irish heavyweight belt and is ready to take down his younger rival.

"He is full of s**t," Rogan said on livefight.com. "He is a balloon and that is nonsense. He is still out of shape and I am going to take him apart.

"They should have called you by your right name, 'Butterbean Luke.' Tyson Fury is a fake and I'm going to smash him up for all of the people in [Belfast]."
