Tyson Fury's promoter is hoping to bring a Klitschko fight to Great Britain or Ireland, after the 23-year-old won his latest fight on Saturday.

Fury claimed the Irish title with a fifth-round victory over Martin Rogan in Belfast, having previously vacated his British and Commonwealth titles rather than face rising heavyweight David Price.

His promoter, Mick Hennessy, is now looking for a world title fight, although only with a contender who is willing to travel to the UK or Ireland for the contest. However, he concedes that might take time - with the Klitschkos and the other heavyweight world champion, Alexander Povetkin, unlikely to travel away from their fanbases just yet.

"He would beat Povetkin, he would wipe the floor with him, but that fight is not going to happen any time soon as he is the champion and it would be in Germany," Hennessy said. "Tyson is the biggest star in heavyweight boxing behind the Klitschkos.

"We are going to manoeuvre him into a position where we bring the Povetkins over here and the Klitschkos. Tyson is the only man that can do this."

Hennessy believes a world title fight will happen, but is looking at a few more tune-up fights and then a shot at the European belt - either with the current holder, Robert Helenius, or when he vacates - as stepping stones towards that ambition.

"He can go all the way. He can be world champion as quick as he wants," Hennessy added. "We are just going to keep him busy now. He's looking at June 3 [for his next fight].

"He's had the British, the Commonwealth and now he's got the Irish title so the European would be nice and then genuine world honours."
