If Haye makes excuse, I'll choke him - Chisora

Dereck Chisora will demand a rematch with David Haye if his rival trots out any excuses in the aftermath of their July 14 heavyweight fight.

Haye lost on points to Wladimir Klitschko in July 2011, and cited an injured little toe as part of the reason for his underwhelming performance, drawing much criticism from the wider boxing community.

His first fight post-Klitschko will come against Chisora at Upton Park, in a contest sanctioned by the Luxembourg Boxing Federation because neither man holds a British licence.

The bad blood between the pair has boiled ever since they brawled at a Munich press conference during February - and for that reason, Chisora has vowed that he will not accept any excuses from his opponent.

"I'll tell you this now," Chisora told the On the Ropes radio show. "If he comes out with an excuse when I'm in the ring there's going to be another fight.

"I'm just telling you this now! If Haye comes out with an excuse, saying any excuse, I will run over there and I will physically fight him - I will choke him to death this b*****d! I don't like him."

The British Boxing Board of Control has said any British licence holder involved in the Haye v Chisora fight will be assumed to have given up that licence.
