Timothy Bradley intends to follow the Juan Manuel Marquez blueprint when he takes on Manny Pacquiao on June 9.

Marquez has been a scourge on Pacquiao's career, giving him three tough battles - most recently in November 2011, when the Filipino was considered fortunate to grab a points decision.

And Bradley, the unbeaten American, feels he can take the Marquez gameplan to the next level in Las Vegas next month.

"He couldn't stop a 38-year-old [Juan Manuel] Marquez, so he's definitely not going to stop a 28-year-old like myself," Bradley said.

"They may think that Marquez just has Manny's number, but whatever Marquez can do, I can do 10 times better. He's great at counter-punching, and I'm devastating at counter-punching. My counter-punching ability is unbelievable. I beat most of my guys on counter-punching. It's effective aggressiveness with counter-punching."

Meanwhile, Pacquiao has brushed off promoter Bob Arum's concerns about his mindset by insisting he is fully focused on Bradley, having been through every possible eventuality during training.

"I don't know what Tim Bradley will bring in the ring on the night but we will be ready for whatever he brings," he said. "I know he will be 100% conditioned for the fight. We have practiced every kind of fight in the ring with four different sparring partners.

"In our training now, we've started to do different techniques and movement and boxing and fighting toe-to-toe. Bradley is a different type of fighter and we don't take this fight lightly. We have trained hard for Bradley because he is the type of fighter we cannot underestimate. Tim Bradley is undefeated and he is a champion."
