Vitali Klitschko has named his probable final opponent before hanging up his gloves for politics, with German Manuel Charr given the chance to fight the WBC heavyweight king in September.

WBC champion Klitschko, 40, is expected to retire after the September 1 contest to pursue a political career in the Ukraine, with parliamentary elections scheduled for October 28.

A crowd of 70,000 is expected to watch Klitschko's swansong at the Olympic Stadium in Kiev, with the fighter returning to his country of birth to compete for only the second time in his career; the first time was in 1998 when he knocked out Italian Francesco Spinelli in the first round.

Charr is unbeaten in 21 contests, although a win over former world-title challenger Danny Williams is arguably the most noteworthy triumph on his CV.
