Amir Khan appeared lean and fit ahead of his fight with Danny Garcia, as both boxers made the 140 pound weight limit.

Khan, who weighed in at 139 lbs, has suggested that the unification bout in Las Vegas could be his last at light welterweight before making the step up to the 147 pound classification. The Brit also hinted he may line up a fight against Floyd Mayweather, after the American is released from prison.

"I believe I can be the first to beat Floyd," Khan said. "It may be better to test myself at 147 lb before that and a re-match with Paulie Malignaggi, whom I've already beaten at 140 lb, could be the answer to that now he's gone up to welter and won a world title at that weight."

Khan credited trainer Ruben Tabares with his current conditioning, insisting his strict diet will pave the way to victory when he faces Garcia on Saturday evening.

"What Ruben has educated me is to look after my body and it has completely changed the way I feel about food. If I had a burger now, I'd probably poison my body.

"Early in this training camp, I had a pizza slice late one night, when I felt a bit peckish, and it gave me stomach cramps. My diet is now so clean, I feel stronger, can train harder and I'm also making weight so much more easily.

"Ruben is tough on me. You have to sleep on time, train hard, eat right, and we never take it easy. I need to be pushed, and this is the hardest I have ever been pushed," Khan said.
