Wladimir: Haye v Vitali on the cards

Wladimir Klitschko is not convinced David Haye actually wants to fight his brother, Vitali - but concedes that if the Brit does, there is a good chance the bout could happen.

Haye came out of retirement to beat Dereck Chisora earlier this month - his first fight since losing on points to Wladimir 12 months previously - and afterwards reiterated his desire to try and rip the WBC heavyweight strap from Vitali.

Vitali will face Manuel Charr on September 8, after which he has been tipped to hang up his gloves. However, Wladimir admits a date with Haye may force his sibling to prolong his career.

"If you take a look in the past, it's very difficult to follow what David Haye really wants," Wladimir told Sky Sports News. "Retirement, not retirement; fighting, not fighting.

"He says he wants Vitali or me, then goes and fights someone else. He eventually fought me, which was great after all the talk.

"The chances are there [for Haye v Vitali]. David became a better person, and I hope he is more reliable than he used to be. We'll see the next step. It's very important Vitali wins the [Charr] fight, then we can continue to talk."
