Carl Frochwill not be fighting Tommy Oosthuizen in November, with the IBO super-middleweight champion rejecting the chance to take on the Brit.

Oosthuizen had been put forward as a likely opponent for Froch, with reports suggesting talks were advanced with regard to a fight in November.

However, Oosthuizen will look to extend his unbeaten run to 21 fights on US soil - with his management team feeling the South African is better served upping his profile in America.

"We've turned down that fight," Oosthuizen's manager Brian Mitchell told Sowetanlive.co.za with regard to a clash with Froch.

"It is proper that Lou DiBella will feature him on Shobox. The American boxing public just loves Tommy."

Froch's camp will now turn their attentions elsewhere as they seek to find a suitable opponent following the impressive win over Lucian Bute.
