Klitschko to Holyfield: Fight will never happen

Evander Holyfield claims the Klitschkos could earn millions from facing him

WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko is adamant he will never perform a U-turn and agree to a bout with Evander Holyfield.

Holyfield, who turns 50 later this year, is still active and has claimed either of the Klitschko brothers could earn $20 million from fighting him.

But Vitali, who meets Manuel Charr on September 8, would not consider the prospect, because he holds Holyfield in too high a regard.

"Many, many times Holyfield has said that he wants to fight with me or my brother - but I refuse to go against him in the ring. He is my idol. I can't do it for any amount of money," Klitschko said, according to boxingscene.com.

In other news, Arthur Abraham won the WBO super-middleweight title from Robert Stieglitz on Saturday in Germany. Abraham was awarded the fight unanimously (116-112, 116-112, 115-113) by the judges.
