Carl Froch has insisted he is not taking his super-middleweight title opponent Yusaf Mack lightly.

Froch will put his IBF strap on the line in his Nottingham home on November 17 and there are many who have already handed the Brit a 30th career win.

Mack is seen as a stepping stone to a second meeting with Lucian Bute, a man he beat earlier this year, but Froch is not taking Mack for granted.

"I am expected to win this time," Froch told Sky Sports News. "Everything is in my comfort zone and I am expected to go and do the business. That brings different kind of pressures. But I feel confident, am ready and have been training well and that is important.

"I have not taken my eye off the ball. I am preparing for this fight like I am challenging. It is a daunting prospect, but there is no easy fight. Every fight is difficult, you only have to get caught with one punch and you are in trouble.

"I am taking it serious and very much expect to do the business."
