Mikkel Kessler is ready to fight IBF super-middleweight champion Carl Froch "any time, any place" after he has dealt with Ireland's Brian Magee in December.

Froch defended his title with a dominant third-round stoppage of Yusaf Mack in Nottingham on Saturday, and immediately called out Kessler and Andre Ward for the chance to avenge the two defeats he has suffered in his career.

And while Kessler, who faces 37-year-old Irishman Magee at the BOXEN Arena in Herning on December 8, congratulated Froch on his victory, the Dane quickly resumed the fighting talk ahead of a potential rematch of their WBC super-middleweight title bout in 2010.

"Don't you worry, Carl," Kessler said. "I beat you once and I will beat you again. Enjoy your belt while you have it.

"That was a good win for you, congratulations. Keep it up and I am sure we will meet again."

After spending the past four years fighting predominantly outside of the UK, Froch has won each of his last two bouts in his home town, and the Nottingham Forest fan is keen to face Kessler or Ward at the City Ground, describing the possibility of a 'career-defining night'.

"Let me take care of business against Brian Magee first," Kessler added. "Of course I am ready to fight you again, any time, any place, especially if Andre Ward is too scared to leave his backyard."
