Tyson Fury's trainer has revealed the heavyweight is targeting a March showdown with Vitali Klitschko.

Fury is currently undefeated after 20 professional bouts and has been linked to a series of big fights in his next outing.

David Price's camp have already been shunned while promoter Frank Warren claims Fury should enter into a four-man tournament involving Price, David Haye and Dereck Chisora.

However, the 24-year-old is targeting Vitali Klitschko, whom he hopes will take a break from his political career in order to fight again. Should he do so, the Fury camp are looking at arranging a bout as early as March 2013.

"If we can get Vitali Klitschko for March, then we will," Peter Fury told the Manchester Evening News.

"We are happy with that, I'm happy to sign up for it. We are ready if Vitali decides to fight on.

"I can see Tyson winning and keeping hold of the world title. He is developing into a serious world class fighter. He has so much more to give, now he just needs polishing because the hard work has been done.

"It's taken a year to get the technique right and he's on the world stage now. We are hoping to take a world title in 2013 and my aim is for him to stay at the top. Tyson will be recognised as the best."
