Mayweather wants Pacquiao fight
Mayweather and Pacquiao have long been linked with a fight, but the two camps have been unable to put a contract together on account of a string of reasons - including the split of the purse and pre-fight drug testing procedures.
Pacquiao's recent loss to Juan Manuel Marquez weakened his position and appeared to put an end to the prospect of a fight, but Roger Mayweather has raised hope that the two great welterweights can get together in the ring.
"The Pacquiao fight has to happen with Floyd," Roger Mayweather told HustleBoss.com. "People want to see it."
Roger Mayweather does not believe Pacquiao's recent loss has put paid to the fight, but is convinced his charge would emerge victorious.
"People don't care whether he (Pacquiao) got knocked out," he said. "Floyd will knock him out and that's the fight people want to see."
Should a deal be struck, the fight is unlikely to take place this year as Mayweather is expected to face Robert Guerrero on May 4.
