Broner feeling no pressure ahead of Rees clash
Gavin Rees and Adrien Broner comfortably made the weight ahead of their WBC lightweight title fight on Saturday night.
Rees brings a record of 37-1 to the ring in Atlantic City, but he is a 9/1 underdog to topple Broner.
Rees tipped the scales at 134.5lb, comfortably inside the limit, and despite all the trash-talking in the previous week, it appears Broner has respect for his opponent.
"He has a helluva record," Broner said. "He is a former world champion, that's why I respect him."
Broner is the strong favourite, but is not being weighed down by pressure. He said: "There is no pressure. It is just another day at work.
"The fight will happen, he will bring what he has and I am going to do what I have to do to get the win."
