Fury cousins set sights on Klitschkos

Tyson Fury has vowed to put an end to the Klitschkos' stranglehold on boxing after his cousin turned professional on Thursday.

Hughie Fury at just the age of 18 became the second Fury to join the world of boxing, and older cousin Tyson has promised they will be the dominant force in the game soon.

Hughie is set to make his professional bow at New York's Madison Square Garden Theatre on April 20, and will be on the same bill as Tyson - who fights Steve Cunningham.

Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko currently hold the WBA, IBO, WBO, IBF and WBC belts and have had an iron grip on the division for a number of years.

The Klitschkos have recently come under fire for the standard of opponents they have faced and Tyson Fury has taken a fresh swipe.

Speaking in the Sun, Fury said: "If you stay unbeaten by facing rubbish then you can get a title fight, even if you are s***.

"The Klitschkos have been conning everyone. All you have at the top of the division are two pensioners who dare not fight a young hungry man like me.

"We're going to be the Furious Two and in a few years we'll have all the belts, not the Klitschkos."
