Billy Joe Saunders has told Chris Eubank Jr to stop talking and front up against him in the ring.

Saunders defended his British and Commonwealth middleweight titles with a unanimous points decision over Matthew Hall on Thursday.

The 23-year-old remains unbeaten and is steadily climbing the ladder, but he has had fellow middleweight Eubank chipping in his ear.

Saunders feels Eubank is only getting attention on account of his former world champion father and predicts he would win inside seven rounds if they were to meet in the ring.

"He keeps coming out with all this talk that he's the best middleweight in the country," Saunders said. "So if he really thinks that, why doesn't he fight me and try and prove it?

"He's been getting all this attention since he turned pro, but it's because of who his dad is rather than what he's doing in the ring.

"I'm not one for blowing my own trumpet and saying I'm going to do this and that in fights, but I really do believe I'd knock him out in six rounds if he ever plucked up the courage to fight me."
