Harrison 'agrees' to Wilder fight
Audley Harrison is believed to be closing in on a fight with unbeaten American Deontay Wilder.
Harrison's career is back on an upward slope following his victory in Prizefighter last month, after which he claimed he was targeting a world-title shot.
The veteran has a long way to go to get back in the title mix, but it seems the 41-year-old is making a push by agreeing to a fight with Wilder.
Harrison tweeted the following on Monday afternoon:
No secrets in boxing eh!I have AGREED to take fight with 5 weeks notice. We're close, hopefully weget there on all details. Nothing more— Audley Harrison MBE (@audley_Harrison) March 25, 2013
Harrison did not confirm the name of his opponent and said details are still to be finalised, but the tweet is believed to be in reference to reports of a fight with Wilder - who is unbeaten in 27 outings.
Reports suggest the fight will be added to the Amir Khan-Julio Diaz card in Sheffield on April 27.
