Haye: I'll give Vitali no way out

David Haye claims he will make it impossible for Vitali Klitschko to avoid him, unless the Ukrainian wants to be remembered as a champion who ducked his main challenger.

Haye confirmed his return to boxing on Thursday and instantly declared his intention to make another run at a world title. Having already lost to Wladimir Klitschko, the Brit is desperate to fight brother Vitali.

Haye's comeback fight will be on June 29 against an unnamed opponent, although Manuel Charr has challenged the Hayemaker.

Charr - a previous rival of Vitali - may well prove a useful opponent for Haye, who says his intention is to do everything better than Vitali until pressure is too great for the Ukrainian to avoid. He points to his win over Dereck Chisora as the blueprint.

"My last fight [victory over Dereck Chisora] was a step in the right direction," Haye told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast. "Chisora went 12 rounds with Vitali and I knocked him out in five rounds pretty easily. Vitali couldn't knock him down, I knocked him out.

"If I keep doing that people will be saying, 'Come on Vitali, you can't keep ducking him'.

"If he doesn't want to voluntarily fight me, I'll put myself in a position where he has to fight me."

Haye also says he still wants an eventual rematch with Wladimir, stating: "I lost to Wladimir and that left a bitter taste in my mouth. I hate the thought of people thinking someone is better than me. And he was better than me on the night, he beat me fair and square.

"But I would love to right the wrongs of that fight. And a good way to do that would be to beat Vitali and then get a re-match with Wladimir."
