Former welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao is desperate for a rematch with Juan Manuel Marquez, according to trainer Freddie Roach.

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum confirmed Pacquiao will make his return to the ring in September, and on Wednesday, a spokeswoman for Pacquiao said the Filipino will fight in either Macau or Singapore due to tax reasons.

An opponent has yet to be revealed for Pacquiao, but the 34-year-old opened the door to a rematch with Marquez in March by admitting it would be up to the Mexican to decide on whether he wanted to fight him again.

Now, 'Pac Man' definitely wants the bout with Marquez to take place, and trainer Roach would like the tussle to be staged in Mexico.

"Manny wants a rematch more than anything else. That's the fight I want. It's still the biggest fight out there. I want the last fight in Mexico. That's my dream," Roach told Philstar.com.

Pacquiao was knocked out by Marquez last December in the sixth round, and at the fourth time of asking Marquez was rewarded with victory having suffered two losses and a draw in the previous encounters - with the third fight controversially being awarded to Pacquiao despite many believing Marquez had done enough to win.
