Henderson expects Melendez rematch

Benson Henderson feels there is a huge possibility of a rematch with Gilbert Melendez.

Henderson was tested to the full by Melendez at UFC on Fox but came through by way of a tight split decision.

It was an action-packed co-main event on Saturday evening and with the 155 division so tight, champion Henderson feels a second meeting will happen - even though his next fight will be the winner of the clash between Gray Maynard and TJ Grant at UFC 160.

"At 155 the division is so stacked, so deep, the top five guys are like this far apart - they're very close the top-five guys, the top-ten guys at 155," Henderson said. "Do I imagine I will be seeing Gil again? Yeah I'll be seeing Gil again and he'll want to beat the crap out of me, so, I'll be seeing Gil again.

"I don't know if it'll be an immediate rematch. If it is, it is. Cool. Sounds good to me let's do it. Let's run it back. But there's a lot of guys at 155 that are pretty tough who all want to beat me up."
