Mick Hennessy has told David Haye to wait in line for a shot at Tyson Fury.

British heavyweight boxing is riding high at present and Haye, on the comeback trail following a spell in retirement, is being linked with a fight with Fury.

Haye's manager Adam Booth said on Thursday that it was the only logical fight out there and was keen on putting together a huge summer clash.

Fury has spoken about fighting Haye in the past but, following his win over Steve Cunningham at the weekend, he is technically one fight away from a shot at Wladimir Klitschko's world title.

Promoter Hennessy is not ruling out a clash with Haye, but his focus is on setting up a final eliminator with European champion Kubrat Pulev.

Hennessy said: "I've got 30 days to negotiate with Pulev's people - it's a final eliminator for the mandatory shot at Wladimir Klitschko.

"Tyson's earned the right now to be in mega-fights. So whichever way we go, and right now we're going down the Pulev route, we believe he's destined to be world champion."
