Deontay Wilder extended his perfect record to 28 knockouts from 28 fights, with this devastating win quite possibly signalling the end of Audley Harrison's career.

Harrison's latest comeback came on the back of a second win at Prizefighter, but he took a huge gamble in taking on rising American star Wilder and it proved a bridge too far.

Many feel Wilder can breathe fresh life into the US heavyweight scene and he did nothing to dampen that talk by handing down a seventh professional defeat to 2000 Olympic gold medallist Harrison.

Harrison, who took plenty of time savouring his ring walk, attempted to keep Wilder at length early on by pushing out his right hand.

Wilder backed Harrison up into the corner and from that moment on, the Londoner was in huge trouble.

A massive right rocked Harrison and his defence was in pieces. Harrison was sent sprawling by massive right hands from Wilder and the referee was forced to step in with Harrison on one knee.

Harrison was given a standing eight count, but he did not know where he was and the fight, and quite possibly Harrison's career, was waved off.
