Wilder wants UK return against Fury

Undefeated heavyweight Deontay Wilder has opened the door to a possible return to fighting in the UK, stating he would 'love to come back' and fight Tyson Fury.

Wilder, who has won 28 professional fights with 28 knockouts, stopped Audley Harrison's latest comeback in under a minute at the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield on Saturday, and insisted that he would welcome a return bout on British soil against the outspoken Fury or David Price.

"I will come back and fight Tyson Fury, as soon as they want the fight," Wilder told FightNews.com. "We've also talked about the [David] Price and Tony Thompson rematch, and me fighting the winner. I would love to come back."

Following his first round demolition of Harrison, 'The Bronze Bomber' laid down a challenge to Fury but the unbeaten Brit responded through his Twitter account by telling Wilder to "join the queue" to fight him.

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer backed Wilder's call to Fury in the post-fight proceedings in Sheffield, stating that his camp would be interested in a potential return to England.

"If David Price or Tyson Fury are interested [in fighting Deontay] then let us know," Schaefer said following Wilder's defeat of Harrison. "We are certainly interested and ready.

"I think some of your colleges don't think that's going to happen because they're not going to fight, because we certainly would."
