Kessler: No one can beat me now

WBA super-middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler has stated that he could not be "more ready" for his unification bout with Carl Froch at the O2 Arena on Saturday.

The 'Viking Warrior' meets the 'Cobra' in the highly anticipated rematch in South East London and, despite approaching the fight in a different manner, Kessler believes he is in peak condition and that "no one" could beat him.

"I have done very good sparring," Kessler told Sky Sports News. "I feel I'm in my peak now and it couldn't be more perfect timing so no one can beat me now.

"It's a different game plan but I always try to get better. There's been new things discovered, to help get better and get better shape and I do that as much as possible."

The pair met in Denmark in April 2010, where Kessler successfully defeated Froch by unanimous decision in what was deemed a classic.

However, the 34-year-old has admitted he will adopt a different approach this time around and, if successfully applying his new plan, will knock Froch out.

"I have a different game plan [to the last fight with Froch] and I'm sure Carl has to," Kessler said. "I couldn't be fitter than I am now, I don't have any injuries.

"It's very important to not have any injuries, everything has gone as planned. I haven't been sick, I couldn't be fitter and I couldn't be more ready.

"I'm going to knock him out before time, of course, if my game plan holds."
