More gold for Olympic champion Adams
Nicola Adams struck gold again for Great Britain as the 30-year-old flyweight took the top prize at the European Amateur Championship in Hungary.
Adams, Team GB's Olympic hero at London 2012, overcame Bulgaria's Stoyka Petrova to retain her EU title to head a list of three British gold medalists - with Lisa Whiteside, 27, beating Alice Sramkova in the bantamweight final and Savannah Marshall, 22, getting the better of Mirielle Fountin in the middleweight division.
Katie Taylor, Ireland's Olympic champion last year, saw off France's Estelle Mossely to win her fifth EU lightweight gold after a unanimous decision.
Mossely had earlier beaten Liverpool's Natasha Jonas, who had to settle for bronze, in the semi-finals.
Adams' victory was comfortable over Petrova, who the Leeds native also beat in the quarter-finals at the Olympics, while Whiteside put Sramkova down in the first to take control of her fight.
Reigning world champion Marshall completed the triple gold medal haul as the Hartlepool middleweight put in a blistering final round to ensure the judges handed her a unanimous decision.
