Kell Brook wants to take out 12 months worth of frustration on Carson Jones when the pair clash in their rematch in Hull on Saturday.

Brook has been plagued with injury problems over the past year, twice calling off an IBF welterweight title bout with Devon Alexander and has only featured once since defeating Jones by decision in July 2012.

That sole victory, which kept up his undefeated professional record, came within three rounds against Hector Saldivia in October - and now 'The Special One' wants to channel all his anger to defeat Jones for a second time.

"He [Jones] was at 100% that night and I was nowhere near," Brook told Sky Sports. "He's going to meet a very frustrated and angry man on Saturday.

"The last months have been so hard, with all that's happened, and I just want to get fighting again. That fight bugged me because I knew I had let myself down and cut some corners in the build-up.

"I might have gone for someone easier, but I want to sort him out. I know he will be hard and test me, but I am in great shape and so ready for this fight. I have a lot of things to put right and I will make sure I do."

Brook, 27, fights on the undercard of Luke Campbell, who is making his professional debut against Andy Harris in the open-air show at the MS3 Craven Park Stadium.

Promoter Eddie Hearn believes Campbell will more than suit the role of headline act, and insists the youngster is calm ahead of his home town bow.

"He's the most successful amateur ever and there's a huge amount of expectation that comes with that," Hearn said. "He's actually quite calm but no-one debuts on their opening show, in their home town, in the open air.

"It doesn't happen. I'm really excited. It's one of the biggest shows we've put on."
