Scott: 'Joker' Chisora doesn't stand a chance

Dereck Chisora has been labelled a "joker" and "hyped-up journeyman" by upcoming opponent Malik Scott - and the unbeaten American has completely dismissed any chance of a 'Del Boy' victory when the pair clash on Saturday night.

Scott, who has yet to taste defeat after 36 professional fights, believes Chisora will enter the ring like he has been "training at McDonald's" and is adamant the Londoner will be no match for him when they meet at Wembley Arena.

"If I look good destroying this joker in two or three rounds, then I'll go back home a happy man," Scott told Kevin Francis of The Daily Star. "I'll be fit and in the shape of my life, I just hope Chisora is in shape to at least make a fight of it.

"But I have a feeling that won't be the case and he'll come in looking like he has been training at McDonald's."

Scott failed to turn up to a scheduled press conference on Monday, giving Chisora plenty of ammunition in the battle of words - the British heavyweight declaring he had seen fear in Scott's eyes when the pair finally squared up on Tuesday.

The trash talk has long escalated between the two - first, Scott labelled Chisora a "freak show" before the Brit responded saying he would make Philadelphia fighter eat his words.

However, Scott has further stoked the fires by admitting he does not rate his rival - saying that Chisora should not even have the chance to touch gloves with him.

"I don't rate Chisora at all," Scott added. "He's just a hyped-up journeyman. He's what we call in America a tomato can.

"This guy shouldn't even be allowed in the ring with me, let alone say my name. I am an A-level fighter and I feel that I'm coming down to C or D level against him. That's how bad he is."

Chisora ended a run of three consecutive defeats with victory over Hector Alfredo Avila in April, while Scott had won 35 straight bouts before drawing with Vyacheslav Glazkov in his last outing.
