Haroon Khan will make an eagerly anticipated return to the ring at Blackpool's Winter Gardens on November 15, against an opponent yet to be named.

Super-flyweight Khan, the younger brother of former two-time world champion Amir Khan, won his first fight as a professional on points, before destroying Vincente Medellin with a first round knockout in Atlantic City in May.

Khan, though, is eager to get back in action and has welcomed the opportunity to continue his professional career.

"I just can't wait to get back in the ring," Khan said. "It's seemed like a while since I was last out, so I'm raring to go. Over the past few months I've been training hard with Oliver Harrison and I've done some great work and excellent sparring.

"This will be my third fight as a professional but I feel myself growing and getting stronger. There are no shortcuts in this sport so I will be getting in tiptop shape in order to put on a great performance."
