Wilder tells Chisora to get in line

Undefeated American Deontay WIlder has told Dereck Chisora to wait his turn after the British heavyweight challenged him in an open letter.

Chisora sealed a fourth consecutive win of 2013 with a third-round stoppage of Ondrej Pala at the Copper Box in London on Saturday.

The 29-year-old is slated to fight on February 8 but does not yet have an opponent. A potential bout with David Price was put back, with the Liverpudlian set to take on Evgeny Orlov in Germany this month after vacating his British and Commonwealth titles, as he aims to bounce back from two defeats to Tony Thompson.

Wilder has stopped all 30 of his opponents inside four rounds, however Chisora claimed he is "grossly overhyped for knocking over nobodies".

That didn't go down too well with Wilder, who hit back by telling Chisora to get in line as he first eyes up a WBC title shot and a fight with Tyson Fury.

Wilder tweeted: "Here's how it's going: Vitali (Klitschko) is retiring, no doubt. I may be fighting for the vacant WBC title. If not, then Tyson Fury. If not him definitely YOU. I ACCEPT. No BS. I'm very serious Mr. D. Chisora."

Chisora had said in his open letter: "I'm asking you man-to-man and hope that you have the honour and courage to accept my challenge and fight me.

"I'll be honest, I don't rate you. After 30 fights you're still knocking over nobodies. As a guide, I fought Vitali Klitschko for the world title in only my 18th fight. When are you going to step up and fight a real contender? There's only one way to prove me wrong and shut me up and that is to get in the ring with me.

"The fans want to see if you can really fight and back up your words by facing someone who will give you a real fight, where you can prove that you are America's saviour in the heavyweight division, and that someone is me."
