British Olympic champion Anthony Joshua secured his fourth win in four professional career fights after overpowering Dorian Darch in Cardiff.

Joshua stopped his Welsh opponent in the second round as he proved to be too strong in the early stages of the encounter.

Darch struggled from the very beginning of the fight, as a series of heavy punches from Joshua forced his opponent to wobble on more than one occasion.

And with the opening-round bell saving Darch, the fight was soon over in less than a minute as referee Terry O'Connor ended Darch's suffering by awarding Joshua the victory.

"Not too great", were Joshua's words after the fight when asked how he felt. "A few things I was noticing in there when I was getting my jab going and my one-two, but you know how it is, the first round you are just warming into the fight.

"I was trying to capitalise on some of his weaknesses from early on, but as round two came along I started finding my rhythm. The next fight in March, hopefully you will see a bit of improvement."

Meanwhile, Lee Selby won the European featherweight title after stopping Rendall Munroe in six rounds.
