Amir Khan says Kell Brook does not deserve to fight him and insists the latter is trying to use him as a way to earn money.

Brook is the mandatory challenger for IBF welterweight champion Shawn Porter and the pair must face each other before July 19.

But Khan, who defeated Luis Collazo on May 3 in Las Vegas after being out of the ring for over a year, says Brook will not be the man he faces next when he fights in December.

"Kell Brook is not one I will be looking at," Khan said. "He doesn't deserve it. Unless he fights Porter and beats Porter. Brook doesn't bring anything to the table unless he wins the world title against Porter."

Brook has won all 32 of his fights, but Khan believes the 28-year-old only holds such a record because he has been fighting "nobodies".

Khan said: "I just think it is wrong that he has made such a big name for himself in the UK fighting nobodies and trying to set up a big fight with me because he knows it will make him the biggest money of his career.

"My team are looking at the likes of Mayweather but Brook is looking at me and not past me. For him, I'm the biggest fight of his career.

"He doesn't deserve the money. I'm having all these hard fights, travelling away from my family and then someone like him comes along and says 'I want to fight Amir'."
