Eddie Hearn has revealed that both Nathan Cleverly and Tony Bellew are likely to get a world title shot - regardless of who wins next month's rematch.

The pair put pen to paper on the highly-anticipated fight on Friday, before it was confirmed it will take place on November 22 at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.

And, writing in his column for the Daily Mail, promoter Hearn had promising news for both boxers.

"I can confirm that it will be an eliminator for the world cruiserweight title and currently we almost have a pick of the belts to go for," he wrote.

"My best bet would be that the winner fights Marco Huck for the WBO title, but in reality I think the loser will also get a world-title shot.

"Frankly, this is the highest-profile fight in the whole division - a real grudge match. The impression I get from my conversations is that all the title holders will want a piece of these two going forward."

Hearn also confirmed Scott Quigg will defend his WBA world super bantamweight title on the undercard, while negotiations are ongoing with two-time world champion Joseph Agbeko and the highly-rated Shingo Wake.

He added: "This would be the biggest test of Quigg's career and he has too much on the horizon for a slip up.

"We have begun initial talks with the McGuigans over the fight everyone wants to see - Quigg v Carl Frampton. Frampton has an injury at the moment and I wouldn't expect him to fight again until February or March so we wanted to get Quigg out in the meantime.

"I'm confident the fight with Frampton is going to happen next year."

James DeGale is also on the bill, where he will be looking to impress ahead of his mandatory shot against Carl Froch next year, while WBA world bantamweight champion Jamie McDonnell takes on Walberto Ramos with facing a unification bout with WBO champion Tomoki Kameda.

Olympic champion Anthony Joshua will fight Michael Sprott in an eliminator for the British title, but first will take on Denis Bakhtov on October 11 for the WBC international heavyweight title.

"I can't tell you how excited I am by this guy. The stabilisers are off and now we are picking up serious speed," Hearn said.

Unbeaten Callum Smith and brother Stephen will also feature on the undercard.

Hearn added: "I can't help thinking that this will be the highest quality card in this country in years with plenty more still to come."
